Tomorrow we start the next unit: MLA reports.

For today keep working on stationery and tables. Do Lessons A, B, C.... in Microsoft if you are caught up.

Follow these rules for the letter

Rules for the Personal Business Letter

-QS stands for quadruple space. It means three blank lines before you type again.
-DS stands for double space. It means one blank line before you type again.
-The red arrow means a 2 inch top margin
-After Dear Julie put a colon:
-After Sincerely put a comma,
-Type it in the font TIMES NEW ROMAN, size 12
-Don’t hit at the end of lines, just keep typing!!!!
-INSERT the date, don’t type it.
-Put two spaces between the state and the ZIP code
-Spell check!!!
-The last thing you do is put your reference initials: the first letter of your first and last name, lower case (jh for me)
-Keep your letter to one page
