March 10

Two or three of you have finished the last two letters but everyone else is catching up so I ask today to continue with the same agenda we've had the past three days. My hope is that everyone will at least have the DEAR JULIE letter done by today.

Follow these rules for the letter

Rules for the Personal Business Letter

-QS stands for quadruple space. It means three blank lines before you type again.
-DS stands for double space. It means one blank line before you type again.
-The red arrow means a 2 inch top margin
-After Dear Julie put a colon:
-After Sincerely put a comma,
-Type it in the font TIMES NEW ROMAN, size 12
-Don’t hit at the end of lines, just keep typing!!!!
-INSERT the date, don’t type it.
-Put two spaces between the state and the ZIP code
-Spell check!!!
-The last thing you do is put your reference initials: the first letter of your first and last name, lower case (jh for me)
-Keep your letter to one page
